~Silver Strands Poetry~
You'll Always Matter!
I repeat things over and over in my head,
Because I don't always remember what was said.
Forgive my questioning looks and stare,
Or my retreating up the stairs.
It's not that what you've said doesn't matter to me,
Because I am trying my best to fathom you see.
Forgive me if I turn around and walk away,
Its not that I had absolutely nothing to say.
You still are my joy and mean the world to me,
Your still my little girl and will always be.
But my world is confusing and I don't know why,
No matter how hard but I do I try and try.
Please keep the smile that I long to see,
For I will always find its treasures waiting for me.
My love will continue long after I am gone,
You will hear it on the wind and the melody of song.
Where once we traveled the road upon this life,
Don't remember the confusion, tears and strife.
Remember those moments of times love abound,
Shared between you and me in the world we found.
I'll always be your daddy and you my little girl.
Till love finds new roads and we sail a new world.
Just remember Your Daddy will always love you!
For Your Daddy would have loved to stay.
Remember I will always love you!

A Natural Art
My Sweet, you are a delight
A big smile, eyes so bright
A laugh that lights the sky
But every once in awhile try
A pout, firm planted feet
Visions of growing strong will
Demands for sweet treats
Or maybe a new toy, but still
Can we play outside today
Want to swing, jump and sway
Read me the one of Jack and Jill
Thoughts of quite time, but still
It's only nine, we have the time
To dance, sing, sway and play
Not sure where to start
Was that a duck? I heard a fart
So we start with laughter
It is a natural art!
